I recently read both The Know-It-All and The Guinea Pig Diaries. Love this guy! Seriously. What can I say, I like funny memoir-like non-fiction. About two years ago I read The Year of Living Biblically. This guy is nuts. But I like. My brain is full of trivia after reading his books. See: Taiping Rebellion

I love A.J. Jacobs. I read The Know It All a few years ago and LOVED it. He's awesome. I've read about 3/4 of The Year of Living Biblically. It's also pretty good. but I've never read the Guinea Pig one!
